Dr. Donald Adema

Dr. Donald Adema has over 28 years of experience as an osteopathic physician in family medicine, with special interest in epigenetics, palliative care, and hospice care. He also holds administrative duties with Scripps Physicians Medical Group and runs his own private family practice. Dr. Adema holds a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University as well as certificate and licensure through the State of California. He is well-known in homeschool circles and, due to his local popularity, often has a patient waiting list spanning several years.

Dr. Adema is passionate about training up medical students who will bring the wisdom of scripture to the multifaceted arena of modern medicine. Through his teaching sessions and textbook selections for the CVCU classroom, Dr. Adema endeavors to bring the academic rigor of Harvard within the context of faith-based environment of Chula Vista Christian University. 

Dr. Adema teaches CVCU's freshman biology course, training up premedical students and general education students in a biblical worldview of the sciences.
